Pau Hana Kava Cafe

We went here on a couple occasions to experience the Kava Drunk. Super beautiful inner garden and the staff was really helpful and friendly. Plus on Friday there is a BBQ.

I stumbled across this little gem while visiting family in Wailuku. The atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and laid back. If I lived on Maui I would frequent this place to read, have interesting conversation, and to drink KAVA!!! "Awa" in Hawaiian. I tried Kava for the first time here, the staff was very knowledgeable and I was so impressed I bought a little bottle of kava extract to take home with me. They also serve cold-pressed coffee, kombucha, and raw food. It's a great place to be social and enjoy a relaxing drink that isn't alcohol! I will most definitely spend way more time here next time I visit Maui.

Pau Hana Kava Cafe is truly a hidden gem...wow...I was shocked and they kill it on the ambiance...exactly how you would visually a hip hawaiian cafe in a movie....love the real Awa (Kava) from the Big Island from Kava Dave...best internet coffee shop and cafe on MauiThey have Kava drinks, cold pressed coffee, the real recipe bulletproof coffee, even the new Nitro coffee, real-no-blazin-alcohol Kombucha, truly raw food, smoothies, super food boosts, Chinese tonics, tshirts, music...FREE WIFI with plugs...finally for Maui!...Balinese style huts...tiki lights...they throw events...farmers market...yoga...and more braddahwhat can I say...this place is the shiz!Next to the North Shore Hostel Hostel in the back of building at 2070 Vineyard, Wailuku.
